- I work full-time for the Department of Defense, and write hot romance novels for Harlequin in my free time. I am married to my high school sweetheart and we have two beautiful girls, Caitlin and Brenna. My fourth book, HOLD ON TO THE NIGHTS, hit bookstore shelves in Nov 09 and my next book, part of an anthology, comes out in July 10 (BORN ON THE FOURTH OF JULY). I love traveling with my family; they're a captive audience while we're on a plane or in a car!

Karen - thanks so much for coming over to my blog! The story about your daughter's school is so hilarious! I live in New Zealand and I totally made the name Newbury up because I thought it sounded like a good fit. Obviously there is a long dark Newbury/zombie connection that we don't know about!!!
And I loved your Jane Porter post. I met her for the first time in San Fran at RWA and she was beyond lovely - plus her workshop had me in stitches. She's definitely as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside!
